I’m running Office on Windows 8. Upgraded to Office today and Outlook is not loading – it is hanging on “loading profile” at the Outlook splash screen. I’ve tried deleting the profile from within control panel and creating a new profile both from Outlook and within Control Panel and neither allows me to get Outlook working.

I tried docking and plugging in both external monitors again and hey presto – outlook would still open. It seems that the problem was somehow related to the video display.
