No, I think any tech-savvy Windows 7 user would not take the bait and trade in their fully operational Windows 7, for Windows I’m sure there will be a huge backlash when the naive Windows 7 or 8. Remembering: When I switched from XP to W7, of course things changed and it took some time to get familiar with, but there were no big Problems with applications and programs and it was an improvement.

I think, Windows 10 is expected to be a universal operating System for working AND entertainment and that is impossible for being perfekt on both sides. Especially backward compatibility seems to be a big looser.

I think because RAM and Storage has become so cheap and most modern systems have plenty of each, Windows and indeed a lot of 3rd party software has become huge unnecessarily.
